Eleutherococcus is an adaptogenic plant that strengthens physical and mental abilities, and relieves fatigue thanks to the powerful properties of eleutherosides.
Its roots are also known to improve memory (better oxygen consumption during exercise) and stimulate the immune system by supporting the body's defences. Loved by athletes, this adaptogenic plant also called "Siberian ginseng" reduces the accumulation of lactic acid in the muscle and protects muscle tissue.
Eleutherococcus root was widely used in China, Russia and Japan as an adaptogen to combat stress and fatigue. The Eleutherococcus is a hardy shrub with deciduous and serrated leaves. Renowned for increasing athletic, cerebral and cognitive performance, Eleutherococcus became very popular with athletes and cosmonauts during the Soviet Union era.
