Hair and stress: what to do?
Autumn is setting in and the leaves of the trees are falling little by little, just like our hair!
This is a normal phenomenon, losing your hair often happens with the change of seasons.
We lose on average between 50 and 100 hairs per day during this period. If the hair loss is more important, you have to start worrying about it.
Several factors come into play such as an increase in the state of fatigue, a change in diet, the use of unsuitable hair products and of course, stress. Here are some things to do every day to fight against seasonal hair loss!
TAKE CARE OF YOUR SCALP
Massaging your scalp, during your shampoo for example, is a step that should not be neglected to revive micro-circulation. This will help activate hair regrowth but also soothe the skull. You can use the "scalp brush" for example which allow a relaxing and anti-stress scalp massage.
TAKE FOOD SUPPLEMENTS
Seasonal changes are the best times to take food supplements. Our La Chevelure formula contains Amla which will strengthen your hair and stimulate its growth. To be done preferably as a cure, at the rate of 4 capsules per day. We recommend taking 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening between meals.
But we do not forget to also treat the cause, namely the stress which has a big impact on the health of your hair. And for this, the most suitable formula is La Sérénité based on Ashwagandha and Sacred Basil . It will soothe your anxiety, facilitate sleep and reduce stress.
The two formulas are complementary and synergistic, they can be taken together or in the same day. Discover our Stress & Hair Pack .
MAKE OIL BATHS
You can opt for castor oil to be applied with circular movements on the skull only to boost hair growth. Prefer sweet almond oil or avocado oil for the lengths to strengthen the hair and make it shinier.
DRINK WATER
Water considerably improves the condition of our skin and our hair, especially on the radiance, which is why this step is not to be taken lightly. In addition, in this cold season that is coming, drinking water is all the more important to protect your immune defenses and stay in shape during the day.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR DIET
Forget too fatty or too sweet foods that can slow down hair growth. Instead, fill up on vitamins with suitable foods rich in protein and vitamins such as:
Vitamin B: white meat, cereals, mushrooms, soya, lentils, oily fish, wheat germ…
Vitamin C: orange juice, kiwi, broccoli, cauliflower, guava, grapefruit, bell pepper...
All these foods will help keep your hair healthy thanks to their nutritious contributions.
OPT FOR SILK
The fibers of silk are very rich in proteins and enzymes and thus help to maintain the hydration of the skin and hair. Bonus: silk avoids static electricity and keeps hair detangled and flexible preventing hair loss.
